Meet Jessy

Featured in Voyage Baltimore and Canvas Rebel, Gifts by Jessy is an online gift shop offering curated gift baskets with personalized options—filled with products you know and trust. Jessica James, the owner, began this journey more than seven years ago while working at a residential apartment community. Her mission was to create memorable experiences by providing new residents with thoughtfully assembled baskets of essentials, saving them the hassle of rummaging through countless boxes for everyday necessities.

Despite the wide range of gift items on the market, she realized how difficult it was to find something that offered exactly what people wanted—high-quality, stylish, and affordable. The baskets she created not only surprised and delighted recipients, but also set the tone for a positive experience with a touch of extra “zest,” now lovingly known as “Jessy’s Style.”

Over time, Jessica has mastered the art of creating those “bright eyes and big smile” moments. Described by her family as creative, kindhearted, and passionate, she is also a daughter, sister, cousin, friend, and proud “Auntie” to five wonderful kids.
